Middle School Buddies Read to K/1 Students

Middle school buddies had fun visiting our K/1 students in their classrooms and reading books to and with them!

2nd Grade’s Been Busy: New Classroom Decor, Reading and Math

Addition, subtraction, and reading groups, and still they had time for decorating fun: adding fall-themed decor to the classroom!

K-5 Bible Roundup

This week, our K-5 students added a few more books to their roundup on the Bible Books wall. They are diving into Exodus.

K-5 Learn About Osmosis

We were not short on volunteers for the osmosis experiments this week. Who doesn’t want to mess around with food coloring at the end of the day?

5th Graders Get a Taste of Literature Genres

In 5th grade, the discussion about literature genres has taken a deep dive. Students had fun “tasting” a genre by choosing from the library what genre of book they’d enjoy.

Walking Club and Chess Club Snapshots

Our after-school electives are still going strong. We missed getting photos of the ukulele crowd this week, but here are some chess and walking club photos.

Middle School Lunch Fun

Conversations and connections are always on the menu with our middle school students.

8th Grade Newton’s Law Balloon Rockets

Last week, our 8th graders tested out Newton’s Laws by making balloon rockets in physical science.

Zoo Field Trip

Some of our students attended an optional field trip to the zoo where they continued their study of animal biomes last week. They saw monkeys, panda bears, cranes, hippos, elephants and so much more!
