K/1 & 6th/7th Grade Buddies Play “Infection” Tag Game

This week, Buddies enjoyed some outside time by pretending they were going to be infected if they got tagged by the person who was “it.” Students enjoyed this version of the classic tag game.

K-5th Discipleship Focuses on God’s Promises

This week, students learned that God never wavers on His promises through two discipleship activities. One was an outdoor demonstration of God’s faithfulness, and the other they acted out the story of Joseph to find the threads of God’s faithfulness throughout Joseph’s life.

Mental Health Conversations in 6th/7th Discipleship

In Discipleship this week, students in sixth and seventh grade learned about relaxation techniques to use when they are feeling worried or anxious.

Mexican Independence Day Is a Big Hit in 3rd-5th Grade

Students in third through fifth grade explored Mexico’s Independence Day by looking at Mexico’s geography and culture. They even got to hit a pinata to celebrate!

K-2nd Graders Learn About Lewis & Clark’s Expeditions

Students in kindergarten through second grade learned about Lewis & Clark and pioneer life this week in social studies.

Spring Family Fun Night Full of Laughter & Teamwork

Our spring Family Fun Night was full of laughter and teamwork as families played parents vs. kids games, and students worked together to build a life-size Magna-Tile house.

Thank You Breakfast for Teachers and Staff

The teachers and staff want to say “thank you” to the Learnwell parents who generously provided breakfast on Tuesday!

8th Graders Study James and Interview Mentors about Hearing God

In 8th grade Discipleship this week, students explored themes in the book of James: speaking to others with love, serving the poor and being wholly devoted to God. They also began filming their interviews with mentors who hear from God. Among those interviewed this week were a priest and a Learnwell discipleship teacher.

2nd Graders Have Fun with Money

Learning about money is a fun way to review addition and subtraction skills while recognizing the value of dollars and cents!

REACH History Workshop

Our Masked-Historian themed REACH workshop allowed students to explore historical figures in an engaging way. After guessing these historical figures (by playing a 20-questions style game), students got to choose their own historical figures for the remaining students to guess. Can you guess who these historical figures are? (Many thanks to the parents who volunteered to be masked historians.)
