Walk for Water Participants Crush Their Goals

Our K-7th graders walked “a mile in their shoes” today to honor students and communities in South Sudan who have to walk farther than a mile to access water. It was a celebration of these students’ hard work for raising over $2,500 to repair wells with Water Is Basic in South Sudan. Way to go!!

6th/7th Graders Present Industrial Revolution Projects

Students in Mrs. Owen’s history class presented projects on Industrial Revolution advancements this week.

4th & 5th Graders Measuring in Math

Fourth graders measured angles, and 5th graders played measurement tag to practice measuring skills and fractions.

9th Graders Visit Berry College

Our ninth graders have been on two college visits so far; most recently, they visited Berry College in Rome, Georgia.

Hopscotch Devotionals in K-5th Grade

Our K-5th graders learned about a unique way to memorize Scripture using hopscotch.

8th & 9th Graders Dissect Fetal Pigs

The Biology students completed their fetal pig dissection this week.

Ukulele Elective Students Make Beautiful Music

Our ukulele elective is off to a roaring start with students using sheet music to learn popular songs on their instruments.

K-5th Graders Hunt for Easter Eggs

Our K-3rd graders embarked an outdoor Easter egg hunt while the 4th & 5th graders stayed inside to participate in a math fact fluency hunt.

K-2nd Graders Show Habitat Presentations

Our K-2nd graders learned about the difference between pond and ocean habitats and presented their findings in groups.
