Prom for 9th Graders
Last weekend, our 9th-grade class celebrated friendship at an untraditional prom. But they held fast to the basics: great food, a fun Uber ride together, and dancing. Click through the gallery below to see all the photos!
8th Graders Visit the Capitol
Visiting the Georgia Capitol is a great way to top off a wonderful year of Georgia History in 8th grade.

K-5th Math Bowl
Last Friday, our K-5th graders had a blast solving math-related puzzles and taking part in a math scavenger hunt. Congratulations to all our participants!

Drama Production & Casts Prepare for May 10-11 Shows
Getting ready for two one-act plays requires commitment and tons of rehearsals! And that’s not including the production crew, who has been hard at work on set design, planning for makeup and hair, costumes, etc. We hope you’ll join us for the productions on Friday night, May 10th or Saturday, May 11th at 2 p.m.
JELLO Discipleship: God Isn’t Slow to Keep His Promises
Our K-5th graders are finishing up their semester-long study of the promises of God. This week, they learned that God isn’t slow to keep His promises based on 2 Peter 3:9. Mrs. Cori helped the students make JELLO, and she used it as an object lesson to teach that providing the students with soupy JELLO wouldn’t be the best for them — and God knows what His best is for each of them, too.
StoryLab Interviews in 8th Grade Discipleship
One of the final projects in 8th grade Discipleship is for each student to interview a person they believe hears from God. What a wonderful gift of an assignment: to learn from other believers who have walked the journey ahead of them and are continually seeking growth in their relationships with God. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who took time out of their schedules to participate.
K/1st & 6th/7th Grade Buddies Play Math Games
Math games are a fun way to practice concepts for review! With the help of the 6th and 7th-grade buddies, our kindergarten and first graders got some practice in this week.

Pioneer Week for Kindergarten through Second Grade
Learning the life of a pioneer is so much fun! Our young historians learned about panning for gold, making bread, and old-fashioned games and how to wash clothes without a washing machine!

Student Entrepreneurs Participate in Children’s Market
Some of our students took part in a Children’s Entrepreneur Market in the community last weekend. Way to go, young business owners!

3rd-5th Graders Make Muffins While Studying the Poppy War
Mrs. Allison helped students make poppyseed muffins to enjoy while they learned about the Poppy War between Great Britain and China.

7th Graders Work Hard to Solve the Math Mystery
Seventh graders learned that solving puzzles is very mathematic! Can you solve their puzzle?

9th Graders Work on Their End-of-Year Life Skills Project
As they wrap up their first year of high school, Life Skills students work on end-of-year projects together.

6th/7th Graders Attempt a Temple Reconstruction While Studying Haggai
Attempting the temple reconstruction with plastic cups is no easy feat! But that’s what the 6th & 7th grade students did together in Discipleship while reading through the book of Haggai.

4th & 5th Graders Practice Math Concepts with Hands-on Activities
Fourth graders reviewed fractions with dominoes and BINGO while fifth graders took on angles with a hands-on measuring project.
