Valentine’s Party Fun in Every Grade

All grades enjoyed parties, exchanging cards with friends, playing games, and eating yummy treats. Find your child’s class below, and take a look at what they did to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Many of the classes hosted combined-grade parties.

Kindergarten & First Grade

Crafts, BINGO, and gift exchanges were a big hit in K/1!

2nd & 3rd Grade

Mrs. Allison’s and Mrs. Charlene’s classes joined together to have a Valentine’s Day box contest. They also played BINGO and enjoyed exchanging cards.

4th & 5th Grade

The fourth and fifth graders played games, won prizes, and exchanged Valentine’s Day treats.

Middle School

Our sixth through eighth graders enjoyed hanging out in the sunshine, eating treats, and exchanging Valentines.

Kindness Chain and Gratitude in K-5th Grade

In their devotional time this week, students in K-5 learned about recognizing others for their God-given gifts and talents and praying to God with gratitude. They wrote encouraging notes and used them to assemble a kindness chain to be reminded that they’re united by God’s love. These students also learned about having a grateful heart as they “popped” up and shared one reason they’re thankful.

Daddy Daughter Dance 2023

Dads and daughters enjoyed an evening of dancing, dessert, music, and crafts last Friday night.

Check out all the Daddy Daughter Dance videos here, including the dads jamming to an old favorite.

Thank You, Room Moms

Our room moms work hard to help Learnwell students celebrate throughout the year with class parties. Thank you to all the room moms for your dedication and planning!

4th-5th Polish Writing and Practice Problem Solving

Our 4th-5th graders finished strong before winter break with writing labs and problem solving practice.

6th/7th and K/1 Buddies Race and 6th/7th Build Model Lungs

The 6th/7th graders and K/1 buddies enjoyed racing to learn about teamwork this week. The 6th and 7th graders also build model lungs in science.

K/1 Class Records Poetry in the StoryDrive Lab and Hosts a Mystery Reader

Our kindergarten and first graders are becoming video lab pros! They recorded poetry this week, and they hosted a mystery reader in class.

8th Grade Language Arts Debates

Our 8th graders got to practice their presentation skills this week by debating an issue close to home. Should schools teach “To Kill A Mockingbird” or not? (They just finished reading it.)
