Week 23: Back in the Groove

Our Learnwell North Georgia crew is back in the groove after a fun Winter Break. When you kick off the week in pajamas and end it with books and hot chocolate, you know it’s been a great way to start back to school after a break.

In this edition:

  • Pajama Day
  • An Introduction to Energy Transformation
  • INK Field Trip Fun
  • National Read Across America Cafe

Pajama Day

Our K/1st and our 2nd/3rd grade students celebrated Tuesday by wearing their pajamas to school! They also did some fun reading activities (and let’s be honest: Isn’t everything better in pajamas?!).

An Introduction to Energy Transformation

This week, our students are learning about magnetism – what a fun science topic!

Interactive Neighborhood for Kids Field Trip (K-5)

Kindergartners all the way through 5th graders joined in for this field trip full of imaginative play. They had so much fun, many remarked that they can’t wait to go back!

Read Across America Cafe

This week was Read Across America Week, so Learnwell students celebrated by attending a Reading Cafe. Middle school students dressed as famous book characters and served elementary school students according to their book “orders.” The menus were eclectic to meet a variety of reading needs: everything from art and animals to mysteries!
