An Author Visit

This Thursday, our friends in K-5 had the opportunity to learn about an author’s journey straight from the author herself, Mrs. Charity Rios. She’s a mom of four boys and still manages to find time to write books about finding one’s identity in Christ. Mrs. Rios shared with the students about her journey to becoming an author. Ask your child if he or she learned anything new!

Also, we will send a fact sheet about Mrs. Rios’ books home with K-5 students if parents want to purchase one.

Another Fun Lunch

Lunch is definitely one of the times we see students laughing, chatting, and having fun. We always love a lunchtime tour through the cafeteria or outside on the sidewalk. It’s good to hear friendly conversations and to see authentic connections being made.
