Valentine’s Parties (K-5th Grade)
The elementary school students had a blast eating yummy treats, playing games, making crafts, and exchanging valentines. Thank you to all the room moms who worked hare to make their parties fun!
The sixth and seventh graders enjoyed a Valentine’s lunch and discipleship activity as they learned about Obadiah.

The fourth-grade class practiced long division in math this week, and they performed a skit to review one of the chapters of the novel they’re reading: “Miracles on Maple Hill.”

Candygram Fundraiser Is a Hit
The parent of one of Learnwell’s students came up with a fun idea this year to do a Candygram fundraiser for Valentine’s Day! The fundraiser was very popular; students had the opportunity to purchase candy with a note attached to be delivered to friends and classmates on Feb. 15 during lunch. Parents and teachers sent some, too.
1st Graders Have a Publishing Party & Make Ten-Block Robots
First-graders finished their “how to” books this week, and they celebrated by hosting a publishing party. They also made Valentine-themed ten-block robots in math.

Last weekend, dads and daughters of all ages danced the night away, decorated dads like snowmen, and got to see what it’s like to live inside a snow globe during the winter wonderland-themed Daddy Daughter Dance 2024. What a fun night!
Fun Friday Electives: Chess & CPR
The March 2024 Fun Friday Electives were very well-attended. Our older students (grades 6th-9th — and even a few parents and Learnwell staff) learned CPR and became CPR-certified with Rescue Ready Plus. Younger students (K-5th) learned how to play chess.
