Getting in the Christmas spirit

We’ve seen Santa’s elves, his reindeer friends, and a Christmas tree appear this week at Learnwell!

Science Fair participants and winners

Congratulations to everyone who took part in last week’s Science Fair. Everyone worked so hard and came with the best ideas for research and experimentation. Congrats to all students who placed in the fair, too.

K-3rd graders make owl ornaments as gifts

The kindergarteners, first graders, second graders, and third graders teamed up for a fun take-home craft. They made owl ornaments to celebrate their Learnwell spirit and Christmas all at once. Go owls!

Christmas Pageant

Thank you to every parent who sent in props, helped your child learn his or her lines, or made a costume. May the true meaning of Christmas be what stays with you throughout the season. We hope you enjoy the video!

K/1 buddies string Christmas garland

Our kindergarteners and first graders made special memories as they strung cranberries and popcorn for traditional Christmas garland together.

4th/5th learn about conclusions and closings

The 4th and 5th graders cozied up to learn about closings and conclusions because they are all writing picture books.

8th graders advertise for Parents Night Out

Our 8th graders enjoyed being part of K-5 carpool this week to remind parents about Parents Night Out.

Service projects show God’s love

Last week, several families gathered to stuff stockings for foster children and make cards for senior citizens. Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and/or gave of your time. Both ministries expressed their appreciation to us.

We’ll see you next Tuesday for the last “week” of school before Christmas Break!
