6th/7th graders host a scavenger hunt for their K/1 buddies

Our 6th and 7th graders really enjoy working with the kindergarteners and first graders. This week, they helped them with a scavenger hunt.

Spirit Days: Halloween costumes and spirit wear

On Tuesday this week, students were invited to wear their Halloween costumes, and on Thursday, they wore school colors or their Learnwell shirts.

5th graders learn personification with an active-ity and solving equations using a number line

Devotional about Daniel: Trusting God experiment

Thursday, students learned about Daniel’s great faith in God and how we, sometimes, doubt God. It’s human nature to sometimes doubt and hesitate to follow Him. Mrs. Cori led a really popular pencil-in-water experiment to show what hesitation does and how it compares to our hesitant, doubtful time with the Lord. He always listens to our questions and gives us grace for the times we doubt.

8th graders enjoy reading in the sunshine

What a lovely way to read literature!

Lunch and playground fun

Our elementary school and middle school students enjoyed some extra exercise today at lunch and/or on the playground.

K-5th make an African craft after learning about African storytelling in history

After learning about African storytelling, our K-5th graders made African jewelry out of paper plates.
