Middle school Barn Dance photos
Our 6th through 8th-grade students spent time learning dances like the Electric Slide and Boot Scootin’ Boogie after a BBQ dinner. They ended the evening with s’mores around the fire pit. Here are some of our favorite videos and photos of the night.
5th graders reviewing math concepts
Trashketball strikes again! Our 5th graders reviewed concepts they’ve been learning before a test this week.
6th-7th graders buddying up with K-1st to do a fun fall art project
Our sixth and seventh graders meet weekly with their K-1 buddies during middle school devotional time. It’s become a sweet way for our older students to serve and lead our younger students.
8th graders’ physical science scavenger hunt about different types of energy
The 8th-grade students enjoyed a scavenger hunt this week as they learned about various types of energy.
K-5th graders making Medieval lutes for social studies
If you’ve been hearing guitar-ish sounds in the backseat all week, you know it’s because of a homemade lute! Our K-5th graders enjoyed making these Medieval musical instruments.
K/1 students take their turn in the StoryDrive Lab talking about pumpkin-book projects
Our kindergarteners and first-graders designed pumpkins to correspond to their favorite book, and they did a wonderful job presenting them in front of the camera in the StoryDrive Lab.
2nd graders take on a fun art project with a parent volunteer
Did you know that glue and salt make puffy paint? Our 2nd-grade class learned something new through a fun art project this week.
