Week 32: Active Learning

This week, students of all ages had opportunities to get outside, play games, and enjoy the active pursuit of learning. And everyone on the Learnwell staff and teaching team wants to say THANK YOU for all the love you shared with us this week. We’re so humbled and appreciative!

Middle School Indoor and Outdoor Games

This week our middle school students had fun outside during lunch, and they had to pretend they were shipwrecked on an island during an activity in Mrs. Hyland’s class.

4th and 5th Grade

Mrs. Cori’s 4th and 5th-grade students had multiple opportunities to actively learn this week — playing spelling/vocabulary games and discovering the strength of different types of triangles in a truss bridge.

K-5 Designing Theme Parks

To further their study of simple machines, students in K-5 learned about planes and designed their own theme parks.

Puppy Palooza Carpool

On Thursday, our furry friends visited during carpool. We *think* every dog went home with his or her correct owner, right?!

Thank You from the Learnwell Teachers and Staff

We would be remiss without thanking all of you, parents, during this Teacher Appreciation Week. You have not only made us feel so special with the breakfast bar and snack bar, cards, and gifts. We also want to thank you, our parent co-teachers. You’ve taught all year long and done a fabulous job with your students! Thank you for showing us such care this week and all year round.
