Week 12: We’re So Grateful!

Thank You

November is full.

We understand it can sometimes feel like a race to the finish line as the holidays get closer. So we want you to know how thankful we are for each of you.

Our hearts are genuinely grateful for all the ways that you — Learnwell North Georgia’s founding families — have pulled together to serve our school community and our local community. Thank you for giving of your time and resources.

We’ve had so much fun at school this month that we couldn’t share it all in one week. Enjoy a short re-cap of what your students have been doing below.

Hospital Heroes Say ‘Thanks’

You and your students outdid yourselves in blessing these hospital heroes who are serving Covid-19 patients. Thank you from all of them to all of you.

Assyrians

Last week in social studies, our students got hands-on with some engineering practices, thanks to marshmallows and LEGOs.

Rain-Can’t-Stop-Us Hike

At the very end of October, a few of our hybrid students got to meet one of our online families by attending a hike at the Island Ford Unit of Chattahoochee National Park. Despite the rain, everyone had a great time!

Elementary & Middle School Devotional Time

In K-5, the elementary students talked about how much they have to be grateful for — and they celebrated with balloons! In 6th and 7th grade, students learned that they need each other by doing an activity where having support is a “must.”

A Special Birthday Party

We don’t make it to every class sing-a-long, but this time we did! This little cutie enjoyed being serenaded as the Kindergarten class celebrated her 6th birthday.

Middle School Students Take the Stage

Our middle school students had a blast preparing for and performing a skit of Moses, Pharoah, the Ten Plagues, and the Israelites for a crowd of eager elementary school students.
