“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6
A Holly Jolly Month 🎄
With Christmas Break, we had two weeks together filled with joy and fun! Our students enjoyed Christmas parties, came in their jammies, wrapped gifts and more!
CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
Our 6–7 graders learned how businesses work by making and selling their own creations, while our K–5 students had fun shopping for presents.

K – 2ND GRADE

Kindergarteners celebrated the season with a Christmas party, decorated trees, created calendars for their parents, and made Christmas ornaments with help from Sarah, our 7th grade helper. They also enjoyed making snowman ornaments, playing a fun reindeer game, and practicing numbers while learning. ⛄🎄

Our 1st grade T/Th class enjoyed the Candy Cane Olympics with K–1, participated in a K–1 cookie exchange, celebrated their writing at a publishing party, and had fun with PJ Day and Snow Globe Writing Publishing. 🍪

Our 1st/2nd M/W class practiced math facts with Santa’s cookies, enjoyed a Candy Cane Olympics after learning about the Ancient Greek Olympics, and celebrated with a festive publishing party for our merry little authors. Reading was extra fun with finger puppets, first graders raced to complete math facts before the Jingle Bells stopped playing, and second graders explored 2D shapes. They also celebrated with a Christmas party, played Reindeer Games, and enjoyed a Hot Cocoa Bar. 🎅📚☕

Our 2nd grade T/Th class celebrated with a publishing party, enjoyed a cozy Pajama Day, and wrapped it all up with a fun Christmas party. 🎄📖

3RD – 5TH GRADE

Our 3rd graders in both M/W and T/Th classes worked on holiday research projects and joined in the fun with a Christmas party and cozy PJ Day, just like the other grades. 📚

Our 4th grade T/Th class had a blast with a measuring scavenger hunt, practiced spelling, explored quality adjectives and hyperbole in their writing, and did math ice writing. ✏️❄️📐

Our 4th/5th M/W class had a festive and fun-filled season! They made Olympic wreaths, enjoyed indoor recess, explored math through hands-on activities, and created labyrinths in Social Studies. Fourth graders practiced measuring length, fifth graders tackled an Order of Operations Scavenger Hunt, and everyone joined in the excitement of the Candy Cane Olympics. 🎄📐🏃♂️

Our 5th graders in the T/Th class had an exciting and hands-on season! They made labyrinths in Social Studies, practiced coordinate grid graphing, and completed a Nativity informational text escape room. They explored Babylon-related art activities, peer-edited creative writing projects, calculated averages with candy, and created line graphs in math. ✏️

❄️ CHRISTMAS PAGEANT ❄️
A group of our students presented a meaningful Christmas pageant, retelling the story of Jesus’ birth through song, narration, and thoughtful performances.

Middle & High School
Middle and high school students wrapped up the season with festive activities, games, and plenty of Christmas cheer.

LOOKING AHEAD TO JANUARY
We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful break! As we begin the new year, we are excited to see what God has in store for 2026. Students in K–7 will be heading to the Tellus Museum for an educational field trip, our high schoolers will enjoy a retreat, and our 8th graders will take a special trip to the Georgia Capitol. Here’s to another semester filled with learning, growth, and adventure!
