Parent Professional Development: Summer Work
It’s Parent Professional Development season, which is a series of meetings we host for parents to talk about specific topics that are related to your homeschool/hybrid school experience. Last week, our fourth and fifth-grade parents met together to share ideas and exchange tips about summer work. This week, we’re inviting second and third-grade parents to meet together on Thursday.

Buddies Get Movement In Outside
Our Buddies pairs joined forces for a fun, active game of Duck Duck Goose last week!





Middle School Students Study the Heart
Learning about resting heart rate and active heart rate brought out the playful side of our middle school students last week. They enjoyed running around for a game of tag so they could compare and contrast their resting and active heart rates in science.









Third-Fifth Graders Build Brain Models
Our third, fourth, and fifth graders are learning about healthy brain development, so they built models of brains to better understand how the brain works.



Messianic Passover Meal in Middle and High School Life Skills
Last Thursday, students in Life Skills classes participated in a Messianic Passover meal to learn about the symbolism behind each element. This is a favorite tradition of Holy Week, and it’s always very insightful for the students because it ties back to what they’ve been learning in their Life Skills & Discipleship classes as they’ve explored the Old Testament.










U.S. Capitals Matching Game in Middle School
Sixth and seventh graders enjoyed their Easter Egg Hunt in social studies last week! They hunted for the matches to their states and capitals, hoping to get the right cities with the right states.










Potato Tending in 4th Grade
Our fourth graders took on the task of tending to the potato plants last week. The harvest should be ready soon!




10th Graders Learn about Endothermic and Exothermic Reactions
Our chemistry students participated in a lab last week that helped them learn more about endothermic and exothermic reactions.




Pre-Algebra Students Learn about Various Triangles
In pre-algebra, Mrs. Crane taught students about various types of triangles last week.



K-2nd Graders Learn About Growth Mindset
Our kindergarteners, first and second graders are learning about growth mindset. So they were assigned to attempt each activity a few times so they could persevere and improve.
