Kindergarteners through third graders painted their way through world geography and made Stone Soup after reading the book.

Helping Mrs. Hillary in the garden year-round is one of the highlights for many of our students. Second and third-graders got to help with the carrot harvest and many discovered they like several varieties of carrots! Also, the second-grade class coordinated their class bucks to save up enough to pie Mrs. Jessica in the face.

Seventh-graders were busy last week in English/Language Arts. They finished their novel, “The Giver,” and presented book projects for it; they also polished their persuasive essays and read them for the camera in the Learnwell StoryLab.

8th Graders Finish Up Learning to Learn Unit in Life Skills

As part of their Life Skills & Discipleship curriculum, the eighth graders learned tips, tricks and tools about how they learn best the last several weeks. To show they understand not only how they learn best but also why the learning tools are effective (brain science!), they presented group skits in Life Skills.

High School Students Tour University of North Georgia

The ninth and tenth graders participated in a tour of UNG to continue learning about the types of colleges and universities that may appeal to them, depending on their interests and passions.

Fall Production Cracks the Case on Comedy

Drama students performing in the fall production, “This Murder Was Staged,” with help from their crew, cracked the case of comedy in this play within a play — a humorous look at a murder mystery that was (almost) unsolveable.
