Working Together to Learn about God’s Power
Students in K-5th grade worked together to re-enact the story of Jesus calming the storm (K-3rd grade). Fourth and fifth graders worked together to create and draw their ideal superhero to show that even though superheroes have great power, it’s incomparable to Jesus and, unlike God, superheroes are flawed.

AFT Gave Middle School Students Opportunities to Connect
Students in 6th-8th grade gathered after school for AFT, a time when they can have after-school snacks and hang out for an hour once school is out.






Fifth Graders Get Hands-On with Math and Spelling
Students in 5th grade had hands-on fun with shaving cream spelling words and learning division through puzzles last week.






Praying Together Kicks Off a New Week

Ninth Grade Discipleship Class Studies Scripture Together
After learning about the historical context of Old Testament passages from Mrs. Maher, students explored God’s Word together.




5th Graders Learn about Weather, Land Change and Composting
Students in fifth grade played “The Floor Is Lava” while learning about how weather events impact land change, and fourth and fifth learned together about composting when our school garden coordinator, Mrs. Hillary, spoke about the soil benefits of composting and let them take turns spinning the compost at school.









Writing, Editing and Publishing in 2nd and 5th Grade
Students in second grade and fifth grade worked on writing, giving and receiving peer feedback on writing, and editing this week. Our 2nd graders finished the week with a publishing party.
