2nd & 3rd Graders Learn About Soil by Planting Carrot Seeds
Continuing their science curriculum’s study of soil, second and third graders took the learning outside this week! They worked with Mrs. Hillary in the garden to plant three varieties of carrots. Converting Grandma’s recipes can be difficult when she uses grams and other metric units. Students in 8th & 9th grade had to convert measurements using algebraic equations to make self-serving sizes of fudge — yummy!

Life Skills Students Get to Know Each Other & Learn Brain Wiring
Students in 8th grade life skills continued getting to know each other two weeks ago by sharing symbols that represent an aspect of themselves or a hobby they enjoy.
