Walk for Water

Our students had a wonderful time raising money for South Sudanese children and families to have better access to clean water on Tuesday! They walked, ran, and fundraised for Water Is Basic, and we are so proud of the contributions we’ve seen already. If you have not contributed and you’d like to do so, please click the link below. You can also send it to friends/family through Spring Break. The opportunity to donate will close Thursday, April 14.

Popbar Alpharetta comes to visit

We love when Popbar Alpharetta stops by! If you are in town over Spring Break, pay them a visit at Halcyon. It’s a family-run, locally-owned business — and they are crazy about education. They’ve been a wonderful community partner this year!

Club Day #5: Art & Pi (or is it pie?)

Our two clubs involved art/engineering — designing and constructing paper baskets — and Pi! Elementary school students took great care in designing and assembling paper baskets loaded up with flowers and decorated eggs. In Pi Club, students tried to memorize as many of the actual numbers (within reason — there are at least 50 trillion digits) of mathematical Pi as they could. Whoever remembered the most won a prize. And then they drew pies and ate pie. All in all, it was a great club period. Thank you to our club leaders!
